Five Day School Week!

We would like to announce that Keys Public Schools will be returning to a five day school week next year. In order to apply for many of the grants, the State Department of Education requires that school districts be in session five days a week. We are very thankful to have recently been awarded the highly competitive Oklahoma Striving Readers Comprehensive Literacy grant in the amount of $742,353.00. A stipulation of this grant was that ALL schools that applied must be in session five days a week. We are working on a calendar for next year and will be sending that out after the April school board meeting. Our goal is to give families plenty of time to plan for the upcoming 2018-19 school year.

Reminder: Keys was just recently awarded the 21st century after school grant and will continue to partner with the Boys & Girls Club. The after school program will continue to be FREE of charge next year... provide nutritious food for students immediately after school... and will be open until 5:30 p.m. daily.
We thank you for being our partners in education!
